Tableware and Sanitary Ware

Industrial shaping of ceramic materials made of porcelain, bone china, vitreous china, stoneware, earthenware and sanitary ware has traditionally been one of the core activities of DORST TECHNOLOGIES. With groundbreaking developments in the fields of both material preparation by means of spray drying and the isostatic pressing technology used for the production of tableware as well as in ceramic pressure casting with porous resin molds, we are still setting the pace for technical progress in the ceramics industry today.

For the production of flatware, ovenware, bowls and cups with or without a pressed-on handle, we offer a wide range of all-automatic isostatic pressing systems and a selection of fettling machines with or without robots. When it comes to the articles themselves, mass production and a rich variety of designs do not necessarily have to contradict each other. Ingenious tool systems make it possible to produce even complex designs of circular and non-circular articles in a way that is still economical.

Drawing on their expertise while keeping their focus on the customer, our own well-equipped tool-making department for isostatic pressing tools guarantees quick development cycles from design to commissioning.

In cases where pressure casting might be more advantageous for tableware, we offer appropriate pressure casting machines and molds, which are perfectly suited for combining them to manufacturing cells with a central robot automation system.

Providing pressure casting technology of the latest state of the art, we continue to serve the market for high-quality sanitary ware used in bathrooms and lavatories. Our portfolio covers all demands made on modern production systems for washbasins, countertop basins, shower tubs, water tanks and toilet bowls of all common types up to intelligent and so-called 'rimless' designs. Regardless of whether you opt for mass production in battery plants or manufacturing concepts for lot size 1, we will provide you with the appropriate process technology. A modern mold-making laboratory enables us to present our customers with comprehensive solutions.

Thank you for all your collaboration and involvement in this project to achieve a successful commissioning. Once again, DORST has shown us the high calibre of your company team. Franz and Philipp have done a fantastic job, going beyond the expectations at a professional and personal level. We are looking forward to seeing them again.
