PH450neo Isostatic Press for Tableware
The PH450 neo isostatic press is designed for the efficient forming of tableware such as plates, bowls, and ovenware from ceramic granulates including porcelain, hard porcelain, stoneware, and bone china.
Its closing force and tool installation space are engineered to cover the full product range of typical tableware series and to press a wide variety of shapes and designs. The PH450 neo is compatible with all common tool systems.
The DORST tool system ensures outstanding process quality and reproducibility. Product geometry, as well as reliefs, inscriptions, and logos, are reproduced with high precision.
The two tool halves are closed by a horizontal press cylinder while the granulate is isostatically compacted within the press tool. After pressing, the formed article drops onto the conveyor via an apron. It is then guided to a pre-centering device for transfer to the fettling machine. Optionally, the pressed article can be removed directly from the press’s upper punch.
